       Responsible for all stages of desktop publishing, from design and page
       layout to creating film and computer-direct plates. Created brochures,
       flyers, posters, booklets, business stationery, invitations, and more.

2001   Graphic Designer and Prepress Technician, Graphic Copy,
       a division of Law Bulletin Publishing Co., Chicago.
       Current Employer. Converted monthly magazine Chicago Lawyer from
       conventional paste-up to electronic workflow. Created ads for daily
       newspaper, Chicago Daily Law Bulletin. Output customer files for film
       separations and camera-ready artwork. Other duties include scanning,
       retouching, and managing digital assets.

I am very skilled with all major desktop publishing software. Hardware I have
used include Macintosh and PC computers, flatbed and slide scanners, film and
computer-to-plate imagesetters, digital copiers, color copiers, and printers.
I have attended many seminars on color management and other topics.
I am highly organized and am adept at troubleshooting problem files.

Ongoing:

I have been working on several web sites with friends, and often create
artwork with computers, in addition to painting and drawing. Some of this

I greatly enjoy every aspect of the publishing world, and continue to learn
and increase my knowledge and skills.
